Operations of the Board of Directors

The Board of Directors makes decisions on items specified by the Companies Act of Japan. The members of the Board of Directors receive operating reports from the executive officers and, at least once every three months, receive reports on items discussed in the Group Management Committee and other management meetings. Moreover, the directors receive financial reports on a monthly basis.

Three Committees

The Nomination Committee, Audit Committee, and Compensation Committee have been given the authority to make decisions on issues including candidates for the Board of Directors, audits concerning the business execution of directors and executive officers, and compensation for directors and executive officers, As such, management oversight is conducted by the Board of Directors.
