Nomura Pension Support & Service Co., Ltd. (NSAS) was formed in January 2004 following the merger of The Nomura Fundnet Securities Co., Ltd. (NFN), Nomura DC Planning Co., Ltd. (NDCP), and Nomura Human Capital Solutions Co., Ltd. (NHCP).
Our operations are comprised of 3 core businesses: retirement benefit scheme consulting, defined contribution pension plan administration services, and support services for calculating projected benefit obligations.
Our retirement benefit scheme consulting services aid companies in restructuring their retirement benefit schemes based on corporate balance sheet and actuarial analyses. The enactment of the Defined-Contribution Pension Law and the Defined-Benefit Pension Law dramatically increased the flexibility of Japan's retirement benefit schemes. Our services are geared towards providing clients with advanced retirement benefit schemes based on rigorous quantitative analysis.
Our DC pension administration business principally consists of product selections, proposals, and information dissemination through our call center and web site. Our strength derives from Nomura Group's our wealth of experience providing services to clients and ability to provide custom-made services based on our first-class track record in the defined contribution pension plan business.
Elsewhere, we assist companies in calculating projected benefit obligations, employment costs, and interest charges. This enables client companies to fully understand their retirement benefit scheme cost structure and include results in financial statements.
