Nomura Funds Research and Technologies Opens London Office

Tokyo, March 29, 2007 – Nomura Funds Research and Technologies Co., Ltd. ("NFR&T"), a Tokyo-based, wholly-owned subsidiary of Nomura Holdings, Inc., today announced that it will open an office in London, effective today. The London office will provide a valuable platform for NFR&T to expand its European product coverage and conduct fund research in the region. Goshin Mizuno will head the office.

The London office will bolster Nomura's global fund research capabilities, and will complement NFR&T's Tokyo office and New York-based Nomura Funds Research and Technologies America, Inc. to establish a physical presence in Asia, Europe, and the USA.
