Nomura Announces Strategic Alliance with Centre of Global Energy Studies

London, May 29, 2012 – Nomura today announces a strategic alliance between its Global Oil and Gas team and Centre of Global Energy Studies (CGES), a UK-headquartered think tank.

Nomura will be working alongside CGES to stage various events for institutional clients, including roadshows, conferences and industry seminars. The Centre's commodity outlook will serve as a key reference point in the Nomura research team's decision making process on oil and gas price forecasts. Both teams will also collaborate on macro and thematic companyrelated research.

Leading the oil and gas market analysis for CGES are Dr Leo Drollas (Director and Chief Economist), Julian Lee (Senior Energy Analyst) and Dr Manouchehr Takin (Senior Petroleum Upstream Analyst).
