The healthcare business, which includes both medical care and nursing care, is an important part of the fabric of society and has a large impact on our daily lives. In recent years, while many industries in Japan have undergone deregulation, the healthcare field still has a unique system, due to its public nature and the fact that it is such an important part of society's infrastructure. Nomura Healthcare Co., Ltd. was established to contribute to the healthcare field through Nomura Group's business activities. Since our founding in April 2006, we have supported entities in the healthcare field by providing financial-related management advice and offering financing by securitizing real estate. With the aging of Japanese society and ongoing healthcare system reforms, major changes will gradually take place in the healthcare industry.
