Nomura Holdings Selected as an Index Component of the Dow Jones Sustainability Asia/Pacific Index.
Nomura Holdings Inc. has been selected as an index component of the Dow Jones Sustainability Asia Pacific Index (DJSI Asia Pacific), which comprises the leading companies in terms of sustainability from the developed markets in Asia/Pacific.
The DJSI Asia Pacific is the latest addition to the Dow Jones Sustainability Index (DJSI) series. It includes the top 20% in terms of SAM's comprehensive sustainability assessment out of the largest 600 companies in the developed Asia Pacific markets.
Nomura Group's CSR initiatives have been highly commended, and Nomura Holdings, Inc. stock is part of the Dow Jones Sustainability Indexes, FTSE4Good Index, and MS-SRI (Morningstar Socially Responsible Investment Index as of September 2008).
