Nomura Securities Wins Gan- Ally-Bu Gold Award for the Second Consecutive Year

Nomura Securities was awarded Gold in the Gan- Ally-Bu Awards for the second consecutive year. A non-governmental project organized by Gan-Ally-Bu, the Gan Ally Declaration and Award recognizes companies that have demonstrated a commitment to creating a workplace and society where people battling cancer can work while undergoing treatment. Gan means cancer in Japanese.

We expressed our commitment by officially declaring Nomura as an ally for people with cancer, and our resolve to be a workplace where our people can balance work and treatment. The award is a recognition of our ongoing efforts to support our people through various initiatives.

Gold was awarded to 15 companies, 15 companies received Silver, and seven companies were awarded Bronze.

Nomura Securities' Initiatives

One of our key focuses is promoting health and productivity management. We consider our employees' health from a management perspective and work proactively to improve health outcomes. We are also working to assist our people in balancing work and treatment for illnesses such as cancer.

We are committed to further building upon our current initiatives, and will continue to leverage various internal channels to help our people gain an accurate understanding of cancer and what to do if diagnosed with the illness.
