New York, June 11, 2026 – Nomura today announced the addition of three Managing Directors to its U.S. Technology Investment Banking team, significantly deepening the firm’s software and emerging technologies coverage capabilities and domain expertise. Larry Phillips has joined as Head of U.S. Technology in New York, partnering with Matt Warner, who will remain as Co-Head of U.S. Technology. Todd Feldman and Cyrus Deboo have also joined as Managing Directors, in New York and San Francisco, respectively.

Phillips joins from Stifel, where he was most recently Head of U.S. Technology Investment Banking. He brings over 30 years of experience across various technology sectors, with a recent focus on Core AI and vertical software as well as payments and FinTech. He has executed more than 100 M&A and financing transactions over the course of his career. Phillips previously co-founded Mooreland Partners, which was acquired by Stifel in 2019. Earlier in his career, Phillips was an investment banker at Unterberg Harris, held operating and investing roles at PRIMEDIA, and served as CEO and CFO of several technology startups.
 

Feldman joins from Stifel’s Technology Investment Banking team in New York where he advised on M&A and financing transactions with public and private companies. He brings over 25 years of experience advising companies globally across a range of technology sectors including customer data, experience, engagement, and monetization, as well as communications, networking, and media technologies and services. Prior to Stifel, Feldman was a Managing Director and Partner at Mooreland Partners, which he joined at its founding in 2003. He began his career in the investment banking division of Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette.
 

Deboo joins from Stifel’s Technology Investment Banking team in London. He brings over 25 years of experience advising companies globally across a broad range of technology sectors, including vertical application software, tech-enabled services, and consumer internet. Deboo joined Stifel through the acquisition of Mooreland Partners in 2019, where he was a Managing Director and Partner, based in New York, and subsequently in London. He began his investment banking career at Sonenshine Partners, advising on M&A and financing transactions globally.
