Nomura Strengthens India Services Platform;
Makes Senior Level Appointments
Mumbai, May 18, 2010 – Nomura Services India, Nomura's global capability centre based in Powai, Mumbai, today announced two key appointments. Dr. Murali Subrahmanyam has joined as Managing Director and Chief Administrative Officer and Ms. Anita Yadav has been appointed Managing Director and Head of Powai's Global Markets division.

With more than 16 years of extensive experience, Murali joined from Alliance Bernstein where he was the Global Head, Technology Offshore Program. Prior to this, he was with Merrill Lynch (India) where he served as Chief Operating Officer for its Technology Services (MLITS) offshore centre.
Anita joins Nomura Services India with over 15 years of experience in capital markets and credit trading. She was most recently with Deutsche Bank where she was the Desk Strategist and Head of Credit Research for Asia. Prior to this, she worked in organizations such as Standard & Poor's, UBS and HSBC.
