Nomura Appoints Joint Heads of Equities for Asia Pacific

Hong Kong, April 14, 2011 – Nomura, the global investment bank, has announced the appointment of John Adair and Paul Dolan as Joint Heads of Equities, Asia Pacific.

John was previously Nomura's Co-Head of Equity Sales, Asia Pacific and Paul most recently held the position of Global Head of Convertible Bonds at Nomura.

John joined Nomura in October 2008 from Lehman Brothers. Prior to this he was Head of Pan Asian Execution Services at Goldman Sachs and Head of Asian Equities Sales Trading with Warburg Dillon Read in Hong Kong.

Paul has headed up the global convertible bonds team at Nomura since October 2003. He was previously Head of Convertible Bonds at ING and prior to this, Head of Trading at DE Shaw Securities.
