Nomura Selected as Finalist at "The Learning Awards 2025"

Nomura Holdings, Inc. was selected as a finalist for the "Internal Learning Solution of the Year" at The Learning Awards 2025, a Global Learning and Development (L&D) award by The Learning & Performance Institute Ltd.
At the awards ceremony held in London on February 13, Nomura's global digital learning program was highly commended. In particular, our flagship learning program, Digital IQ University, was recognized for the diverse learning pathways tailored to learners' needs.
Overview of the Digital IQ University
Launched in October 2023, Digital IQ University is curated around 12 Nomura specific digital personas based on the digital skills required by people across different businesses and functions. The program comprises approximately 30 to 60 hours of e-learning for each learning path. Each digital persona is categorized into Intermediate, Advanced and Expert courses.
To enhance digital talent development, in September 2024 we launched a certification program to recognize those that have completed digital persona learning pathways.
Certification requirements vary for each level, with Intermediate requiring e-learning completion, Advanced requiring e-learning completion and participation in workshops, and Expert requiring approval from supervisors or other relevant stakeholders. This approach allows for personalized learning based on each individual's skills and level.
Increasing certified digital talent
As of February 2025, over 500 certificates have been awarded to employees. In February 2025, we launched an advanced certification program to enable employees to further enhance their digital skills and practically apply them to their work.
As the use of generative AI and digital transformation (DX) becomes increasingly important, Nomura believes it is essential to raise awareness of digital learning within the company and create a sustainable learning environment.
We hope that this award will further enhance our digital human resource development efforts and have an impact on the industry.
