Nomura Strengthens Cash Equities with Key Trading Hires

New York, June 15, 2011 – As part of the continued expansion of its Americas Equities division, Nomura, the global investment bank, has hired three senior traders in US Cash Equities to lead the technology, industrials and consumer sectors. Ciaran O'Kelly, Head of Americas Equities, said, "Last year we joined the top 10 players in the US in derivatives, convertibles and program trading, as measured by client commissions paid - and our immediate goal is to extend that success to Cash Equities. Kevin, Jeff and Tom bring the market knowledge, broad experience and extensive relationships that will ensure we achieve that target by providing excellent service to our clients."
