Hong Kong, March 15, 2012 – Nomura, the global investment bank, has appointed Michael Kurtz as Global Head of Equity Strategy, based in Hong Kong. Michael will report jointly to Hideyuki Takahashi, Global Head of Research and Stewart Callaghan, Head of Equity Research AEJ.
Nomura has also appointed Inigo Fraser-Jenkins as Global Head of Quantitative Strategy, based in London. Inigo will report jointly to Hideyuki Takahashi, Global Head of Research and Graeme Pearson, Head of Equity Research, EMEA.

Michael and Inigo's extensive experience and proven track records will make them well placed to implement our strategy and add significant value for our clients," said Hideyuki Takahashi, Global Head of Research.
Prior to the appointments, Michael was Nomura's Chief Asia Equity Strategist and Inigo was the firm's European Head of Quantitative Strategy.
Michael and Inigo jointly replace Ian Scott, previously Global Head of Equity Strategy and Quantitative Research, who is leaving the firm after 17 years.
