Nomura Appoints Anu Jayanti as Global Head of Client Account Management

New York, Tokyo, January 18, 2022 - Nomura Holdings, Inc. today announced the appointment of Anu Jayanti as Managing Director, Global Head of Client Account Management, effective immediately.

Based in New York, in this newly created role, Ms. Jayanti will report globally to Steve Ashley, Head of Wholesale Division, and locally to Chris Willcox, Co-CEO, Nomura Holding America. She will also join Nomura's Wholesale Executive Committee and will chair a newly established Wholesale Client Committee.

Ms. Jayanti will work closely with global and regional stakeholders to establish a platform to deliver a consistent client experience.

Ms. Jayanti joins from Citigroup, where she had a lengthy and successful career in Institutional Sales and Relationship Management. Most recently, she was Global Head of Investor Relationship Management, managing the bank's largest and most complex client relationships.
