Nomura Holdings has been selected as a component of the FTSE4Good Index, which comprises companies chosen for their leadership in sustainability since 2006. The FTSE4Good Index Series has been designed to measure the performance of companies that meet globally recognized corporate responsibility standards, and to facilitate investment in those companies.

Nomura Holdings also received an overall ESG supersector relative rating score of 100 out of 100 in the latest FTSE4Good ESG Ratings*. Nomura Holdings was recognized as a supersector leader for the third consecutive year in the FTSE4Good ESG Ratings. In March 2013, Nomura was recognized as second in the financial services sector and first among Japanese companies.

"FTSE4Good ESG Ratings" is a new data service which provides a comprehensive, transparent and objective system to measure the Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) practices of over 2,400 public companies worldwide.

Nomura's CSR initiatives have been highly recognized. We have been included in the Dow Jones Sustainability Indexes, the FTSE4Good Index and the MS-SRI index.
