Singapore, July 13, 2021 - Nomura Singapore Limited today announced that it has appointed Gan Chee Yen as a Non-Executive Director.

Michael Lim, Chairman of the Nomura Singapore board, said: "We are delighted to welcome Chee Yen to the board. His unique insights and expertise from his hugely successful and diversified career spanning over three decades will be invaluable to the board."

From 2011 to 2019, Mr. Gan was Chief Executive Officer of Fullerton Financial Holdings, which invests in and operates financial institutions in emerging markets. Fullerton Financial is a unit of Singapore's global investment company, Temasek, where he worked in multiple positions from 2003 to 2011. His various roles there were as Senior Managing Director, Co-Chief Investment Officer, Chief Financial Officer and Head of China.
