Nomura Announces Nomination of Members for Board of Directors

Tokyo, March 2, 2021 - Nomura Holdings, Inc. today announced that the Nomination Committee resolved to submit proposals to the annual meeting of shareholders to be held in June 2021 to appoint members to the company's Board of Directors.

Director Nominees

Nomura Holdings nominated a total of 12 directors. Of these 12 nominees, 10 have been nominated to serve as Non-Executive Directors, while the remaining two will serve concurrently as Executive Officers. If all the directors are elected, the Company's Board of Directors will be more diversified with eight Outside Directors, four non-Japanese Directors, and three female Directors.
