Nomura Holdings (Nomura Securities) and Nomura Asset Management have been certified for exceptional health management initiatives under the 2021 Certified Health and Productivity Management Outstanding Organization Recognition Program, administered by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry and the Nippon Kenko Kaigi (Japan Health Council). In addition, Nomura Holdings (Nomura Securities) was recognized as a "White 500" company, ranking among the top 500 certified companies.
The certification program recognizes large enterprises and SMEs engaged in particularly excellent health management initiatives that help address local health issues and contribute to the health promotion initiatives of the Nippon Kenko Kaigi.

- Self-Care Training for all employees and Line Care Training for all managers to support employees' mental health during Covid-19
- Organize Nom☆Chare Walk (NOMURA Health Challenge) to promote active lifestyles as many employees work from home and donate money corresponding to the average number of steps taken by employees to Covid-19 relief fund
- Utilize health platform "WellGo" to visualize health information such as medical examination results, as well as share and rank lifelogs such as the number of steps taken
- To help employees balance treatment for illness and work, share resources on the intranet, such as the "Treatment & Work Coexistence Assistance Guidebook (for employees and managers)" and employees' personal experiences
Nomura Asset Management
- Use health platform "WellGo" to provide health information such as medical examination results, as well as share and rank lifelogs such as the number of steps taken
- Using occupational health BPO "Pasona," strengthen collaboration with industrial physicians, and recommend medical examinations and participation in preventive programs
- Annual stress check survey (100% response rate for 4 consecutive years); results used to improve the work environment
- Collaborate with occupational health nurses to provide health information related to remote work during Covid-19
